The exhibition society «Ural Exhibitions – 2000» would like to invite you to participate in the 14th international specialized exhibition «FURNITURE - INTERIOR-2009», held under the auspices of  the Association of “Furniture makers of the Ural”, Ministry of construction and of the Territorial Administration of Russian Building Society in the Ural Federal District, the Administration of the Sverdlovsk region and the Ministry of Building and Architecture in the Ural region.

 

The schedule of the exhibition: seminars, competitions for gold, silver and bronze medals, diploma of the exhibition.

About the exhibition «FURNITURE - INTERIOR- 2009» - The exhibition traditionally joins together the best companies of the Ural region and of the world on the market of furniture construction; We unite more than 150 furniture producers from many parts of the world (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Finland, Czech Republik, Monaco). In 2008 the exhibition was visited by 8 000 people.

 

The Sverdlovsk region, one of the major economic regions of Russia, is located right in the centre of the country, on the border between Europe and Asia and is connected to all the other regions by highways, railways and airlinks that make this region a very good centre for the distribution of industrial products. This is one of the reasons why this region is one of the most attractive areas in Russia for potential investment. It can be compared to Moscow and St. Petersburg, and in many areas it is more developed than any other Russian regions.

The region has high investment potential for a number of reasons: a stable political situation in the region, a number of different kinds of industrial production, the development of new and promising branches of science an industry, legal support for investors and a decrease in red-tape barriers which hinder investment. Large foreign companies confirm their interest in realization of many projects of Sverdlovsk region. Among the largest projects I would note the creation of a special economic area “Titanic Valley”, “Big Eurasian University”, construction of the largest international logistic complex and a new landing strip on the basis of “Koltsovo” airport; construction of power units on Beloyarskay nuclear power plant as well as projects in the sphere of commercial real estate and house-building. Participation of foreign countries will stimulate the development of innovational projects in various spheres of economy of Sverdlovsk region. In region operates more than 360 large and average building and repair-building organisations of various patterns of ownership (including with participation ' of the foreign capital) and 3,6 thousand small enterprises and the organizations. Housing and communal services of Sverdlovsk region comprise more than 90 million sq m of living area. Until 2010 it is stipulated to build 10 million sq m more of housing.  In recent years one of the trends of the city and region economic development is augmentation of the sector of country real estate, first of all villa communities, cottage housing.
