Region: According to the territory the Sverdlovsk Region takes the 18th place in Russia. According to population Sverdlovsk Region is on the 5th place. The Sverdlovsk Region is one of the most urbanized regions with highly developed industry. There are about 50 towns and villages on the territory of the Sverdlovsk Regions, this makes it second one after Moscow Region in the number of towns and villages.

Region: Yekaterinburg is the third in size agglomeration in Russian Federation. It’s the capital of Ural Region with an average number of population more than 2.5 mln. People. It covers more than 3 square meters of the territory. Yekaterinburg is the second economically important zone after Moscow. The city becomes more and more attractive for investments. The reason of such attractiveness is that Yekaterinburg city is situated on the border of Europe and Asia is a big economy and trade center owing to high tempo of industries, science development and high living standards of the population.
